How it works

Four taps. One plan.

There’s no feed to keep up with and nothing to check every day. Open it when you have a night open, or when a friend does.

  1. Make a pod

A pod is you and a few friends. Give it a name, like Thursday Climb.

Name it and add people. That is the whole setup. Anyone in a pod can plan something for it. You can be in as many pods as you like, and the same friend can be in several.

  2. Say when you're available

Tap the nights you're open. Only the friends you pick can see them.

Pick the nights you are open and say which friends can see them, one at a time. Nobody else can see it, and you can change or clear it whenever you like.

  3. See when they're available

The nights they are open show up next to yours, with their names on them.

The nights they are open sit next to yours, with their names on them. A friend turned that on for you, one person at a time. Being in a pod together does not do it on its own.

  4. Lock it in

Pick a night that works for everyone. They all get the day, the time and the place.

Pick the night and it becomes a plan: the day, the time, the place, and the weather as it gets closer. Everyone invited gets it. If someone cannot make it, they say so, and nothing that goes out afterwards says who it was.

The pod screen

What a pod screen shows

Each pod has a screen of its own. The thing that needs you is at the top. The things that already happened are at the bottom.

None of it opens your calendar. Who sees your availability is up to you, one friend at a time.

  • Who's in it

Everyone in the pod. The ones you know by face and first name.

  • Needs your answer

Invites and times that are waiting on you.

  • Planned

What's locked in, with the place and the weather.

  • Waiting on a time

The ones nobody has settled a time for yet.

  • Been and gone

    The ones you already did.

Who can see what

Most apps get vague here. Here it is in three lines.

  • Your availability is seen by the friends you turned it on for, one at a time. Opening it to somebody puts a card on their home tab so they can do the same. Closing it again tells them nothing.
  • A pod is a place to reach people and a screen to plan on. It never shows anyone your calendar.
  • Anything you post goes only to the people or pods you chose. It stays in your own history afterwards, and deleting your account removes it.
